Let's get your server
and domain ready.
Hi Daniel — the app is built and tested. To put it online under your own name, you need a small server and a domain. Both are bought in your account, so they're your property and bill directly to you. Follow the four steps below; if anything is unclear, just ask and we'll do it together on a call.
Create a Hostinger account
- Go to hostinger.com/vps-hosting.
- Sign up with your own email address (this account will hold your server and domain).
Purchase the KVM 2 plan
Pick KVM 2 (2 CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB storage). That's plenty of power for the scanning, the phone lookup, and millions of leads. You'll be asked how long to pay for up front — the longer the term, the lower the monthly price:

After the first term the plan renews at about $14.99 / mo — still within what we discussed. Prices are Hostinger's at the time of writing; the checkout page always shows the exact amount.
During setup, choose:
- Operating system:
Ubuntu 22.04(plain Ubuntu, not a "with app" template) - Server location: United States (closest to you)
- Add-ons / upsells: skip them all (extra backups, email, SSL, malware scanner). The app handles backups and security itself.
Claim your free domain
Hostinger will offer to register your free domain either during checkout or afterwards in your account (look for "Claim free domain"). Try your ideas, for example:

Any name that's available works — .com is ideal. If your favorite is taken, try a short variation. Don't buy any extras with it.
Share access with me
So I can install the app and connect your domain, give my work account access to your Hostinger panel:
- In Hostinger, click your profile (top right) → Account → Account Sharing (also reachable at hpanel.hostinger.com/account/sharing).
- Click Share access / Add user and enter this email:
matti.mansha@gmail.com- Choose the highest access level offered (Admin / full access) so I can manage both the server and the domain.
- Send the invitation and let me know the domain name you picked — I'll take it from there.
What happens next
- I install the app on your server and connect your domain — usually within a day.
- You receive two logins: your admin login (home: upload scans and CSVs, manage everything) and your work login (phone lookup only — safe to use around coworkers).
- Send me 2–3 of your real CSV files whenever you can, so I can double-check every column lands in the right place.
Running cost: the server (~$9 / mo, renewing at ~$15 / mo after the first term) plus the domain (free the first year, roughly $15 / yr after). Nothing else.
